To add a transaction manually to your Delta portfolio, you can follow a few simple steps depending on the type of asset and transaction you are recording.
Standard Buy or Sell Transactions For most standard assets like stocks, funds, or cryptocurrencies, follow these steps to add a manual buy or sell transaction:
Locate the Add Button: Open your portfolio screen and tap the "+" button, which is typically found in the bottom right corner.
Choose Manual Entry: Select "Add Manual Transaction" from the options presented.
Select Asset Type: Choose the specific asset type you are interested in (such as Crypto, Stocks, or Funds).
Search for the Asset: Use the search bar to find the asset by typing its name or ticker symbol, and then tap on it when it appears.
Set Transaction Details: Select whether you are making a Buy or Sell transaction. Carefully fill in the details of the trade, including the price, amount, and any fees.
Adjust Cash Holdings: You can use the provided toggles to indicate whether you would like this transaction to deduct from or add to your available cash holdings.
Additional Options: If you expand the "Additional Options" menu, you can record where you bought or sold the asset (like a specific exchange or broker) and leave personal notes that will show up on your transaction page.
Finalize: Tap "Add Transaction" to complete the process and save it to your portfolio.
Recording Crypto Transfers, Airdrops, Mining, or Dividends If you need to record a cryptocurrency deposit that wasn't a standard trade—such as an airdrop, mining reward, fork, or staking dividend—the process is slightly different:
Tap the "+" sign and select "Add Manual Transaction", then click on "Crypto" and search for the coin.
Instead of a Buy or Sell, select the 'Transfer' option.
In the 'Sent/Received From' field, choose the appropriate source: Airdrop, Mining, Fork, or Dividends/Staking.
In the 'Sent To' field, select an exchange or 'My Wallet'.
Enter the amount you received and any applicable fees, then tap "Add transaction". The app will create a deposit entry and update your holdings accordingly.
Manually Adding NFTs If you are tracking an NFT that you want to enter manually:
Press the "+" button, select "Add Manual Transaction", and tap "NFT".
Search for your purchased NFT by typing its name into the search box. You can refine your search by including the tokenID to make finding your specific NFT easier.
On the transaction editor screen, you can log details such as the marketplace where you purchased the NFT, the buy price (in ETH), any transaction fees, and personal notes.
You also have the ability to toggle "Deduct from ETH available cash"—if this is selected, Delta will automatically deduct the ETH value of the purchase from your current ETH holdings, saving you the time of adding a separate deduction transaction.
