How do I add/delete an alert?

Alerts notify you when the price of a certain asset reaches the value specified by you. Check here to help you set these up.

Adding an alert

You can add an alert to any asset in either the portfolio, watchlist, or markets page. To do so:

1. Open the assets page from the Portfolio, Watchlist, or Markets page.

2. Swipe left (or tap on 'Alerts') to open the alerts tab as shown below. Press here to open BTC as an example.

3. Tap on "Add New Alert" to open the 'Add alert' page.

4. You can add two kinds of alerts. One-off: If the alert condition is met, you will be notified once and the alert will turn off. Repeating: If the alert condition is met, you will be notified every hour as long as the alert condition is still met.

5. Select an exchange and trading pair for crypto, and the price you would like to be alerted at. You can enter a value less than the current worth for a 'lower than' alert and a value higher than the current worth for a 'greater than' alert. You can select to be alerted in the base pair selected (like BTC/ETH) or in your primary/secondary fiat current (like USD).

6. Tap the 'Add Alert' button to add and turn on your alert. You can manually turn off the alert by using the toggle switch on the right of each alert.

Deleting an alert

Deleting an alert is even easier than adding the alert:

1. Open the assets page from the Portfolio, Watchlist, or Markets page.

2. Swipe left (or tap on 'Alerts') to open the alerts tab as shown below. Press here to open BTC as an example.

3. Tap on the alert you want to delete and press the bin icon in the top right.

PRO TIP: Please note that repeating alerts will notify once per hour providing the conditions are still met. This is to prevent you from being spammed with notifications and the 1-hour interval is not something that can be changed.

PRO TIP 2: Whether the alert will be greater than the price threshold or less than the price threshold will be set automatically based on the price you enter and the current value of the asset.
