Both price and market value are determined by the source of the price selected. Here's how you can change the source:

Let's take an example here of Ethereum (ETH). I have selected Binance as the exchange and ETH/BTC as the source pair. Also, let's say the portfolio currency is currently Canadian Dollars (C$).

The price per coin i.e. ETH/BTC rate is taken directly from the exchange and is converted using the exchange's BTC/USD or BTC/USDT rate to get the price per coin in USD and then converted to CAD (or whatever portfolio currency you have selected) using today's foreign exchange rate. If the exchange selected does not have a BTC/USD(T) pair then the BTC/USD from Global Average is used.

Market Value:

Market Value = Price x Amount

Asset Profit/Loss:

Absolute Profit/Loss = Current Market Value - Market Value X time ago
where X depends on time frame chosen

Percentage Profit/Loss = Percentage change in Price of coin

Portfolio Profit/Loss:

Absolute Profit/Loss = Current Portfolio Value - Portfolio Value X time ago
where X depends on time frame chosen
