Whether you want to share a screenshot of your portfolio with a friend or just want to open the Delta app in public without revealing your total worth, Delta makes it incredibly easy to hide your balances.
Here is everything you need to know about keeping your numbers private, as well as how to get them back if they go missing!
How to Hide Your Total Portfolio Balance
You can easily mask your overall portfolio worth with just a tap using the privacy "eye" icon. There are two places you can do this:
From the Sidebar: Tap the hamburger icon in the top left corner of the portfolio screen to open the sidebar, then press the eye icon next to your portfolio worth to toggle the "hide balance" mode.
From My Delta Home: If you are viewing the "My Delta Home" feed, you can simply tap the eye icon located right next to the "My Portfolios" header to hide the amounts for privacy.
The Quick "Shake" Method (Show % Holdings)
If you want to hide your absolute balances and instead display your holdings as a percentage (%) of your total portfolio worth, you can enable our fun "Shake" feature.
Open the sidebar and navigate to Settings.
Tap on General.
Turn on Shake to enable % holdings.
Once enabled, this feature works anywhere in the app. All you need to do is give your phone a firm shake to toggle your balances into percentages.
Help! I Can't See My Balances
If your portfolio numbers have suddenly vanished or turned into percentages, do not panic! Here is how to fix the most common visibility issues:
Everything is showing as percentages or stars ():* You likely bumped the privacy eye icon or accidentally triggered the shake feature. Simply tap the eye icon in the sidebar again, or give your device another quick shake to unhide the balances.
Specific coins or assets are missing: If your overall balance is there but specific assets have disappeared from your list, you might have our asset-hiding settings turned on. Navigate to Settings > View Options and check if Hide 0 holdings or Hide small holdings (which hides assets making up less than 0.2% of your portfolio) are toggled ON. Simply toggle them OFF to reveal your missing assets.
My total portfolio balance is lower than it should be: Check if you have negative balances hiding at the bottom of your portfolio by ensuring the Hide 0 holdings setting is turned OFF. Also, check if you have Add available cash to holdings toggled on or off in your Calculation settings, as this will change whether your fiat balances are included in your total.
