Your exchange API keys are stored and encrypted locally, right on your device — they're never sent to or stored on our servers. This keeps your keys extra secure, but it does mean they won't be included when you back up or sync to a new device. Don't worry though — you'll only need to re-add your API keys; your trades and transaction history will still come across just fine.
Once you've added your API key, you'll be able to view the key itself (and the passphrase, if your exchange uses one) — but never the secret key. We keep that hidden for your protection.
If you back up your wallet using the recovery QR code, that backup won't include your API keys — you can read more about recovery backups here.
Similarly, if you sync or transfer your portfolio to a new device, you'll need to re-enter your API keys there too — they don't carry over automatically.
