Fixing an incorrectly matched asset in a broker connection

How to use Delta's asset matcher to correct an asset that was incorrectly mapped when importing from a broker like BNP Paribas.

Written by James Evans

When Delta imports holdings from a broker connection, it automatically tries to match each asset to the correct instrument. Occasionally the auto-match is incorrect — for example, an ETF or stock might be mapped to the wrong ticker.

You can correct this directly from the connection using the imported asset matcher:

  1. Go to the sidebar and tap Connections, then select your broker connection (e.g. BNP Paribas PEA).

  2. Find the incorrectly matched asset in the list under "Assets Successfully Matched."

  3. Tap the Match Manually button (shown as two circular arrows).

  4. Search for the correct asset and confirm the new mapping.

Once remapped, Delta will update the connection to track the correct asset going forward.
