How to Hide Coins or Assets You No Longer Have

Learn how to keep your portfolio clean by hiding assets with zero or very small balances without deleting your valuable transaction history.

Written by Advait

If you have assets with past transactions but currently hold zero or very little of them, please do not remove them from your portfolio! Deleting an asset completely removes all transactions linked to it, which can mess up your entire portfolio balance and require you to re-add the transactions manually to fix it.

Instead of deleting them, Delta provides easy view options to keep your portfolio screen clutter-free.

How to Hide Assets with Zero Holdings

If you have sold everything you had in a coin and now have exactly 0.00 holdings, you can easily hide it from your list:

  1. Open the sidebar and navigate to Settings.

  2. Tap on View Options.

  3. Toggle on Hide 0 holdings.

This will instantly hide any assets with a zero balance from your main portfolio view, without affecting any of your calculations.

How to Hide Assets with Small Holdings

If you have a lot of "dust" or coins with very small remaining holdings, you can hide these as well:

  1. Navigate to Settings.

  2. Tap on View Options.

  3. Toggle on Hide small holdings.

Enabling this option will take any assets that account for less than 0.2% of your total portfolio worth and move them into a collapsible "Hidden assets" section at the bottom of your portfolio.

Helpful Tips for Hidden Assets

  • Finding hidden assets: If you want to see the transaction history or add a new transaction for an asset you have hidden, simply search for it using the search function (the magnifying glass icon) in the top right corner of the app.

  • Total worth calculation: Please note that assets hidden by the "Hide small holdings" toggle still count toward your total portfolio worth and Insights calculations.

  • Troubleshooting incorrect balances: If your total portfolio balance is showing incorrectly or not adding up as you think it should, try turning both of these settings OFF. This may reveal negative balances hiding at the bottom of your list that are skewing your total worth.
