Whether you want to keep your long-term stock holdings perfectly separate from your active crypto trading, or you just want to experiment with different investment strategies, Delta makes it incredibly easy to set up and manage multiple portfolios.
Here is everything you need to know about creating new portfolios and managing your existing ones.
How to Create a New Portfolio
Creating a brand-new space for your investments takes just a few taps:
Navigate to your main portfolio screen.
Tap the portfolio selector at the very top of the screen (it will display your current portfolio's name).
Tap the [ + New ] button.
Enter your desired name for the new portfolio and press Create.
That's it! You can now select your newly created portfolio from the list and immediately start adding manual transactions or linking your exchange and wallet connections.
Portfolio Limits & "Active" Portfolios
Delta is built to scale with your investing journey. However, depending on your current membership plan, there are limits to how many portfolios you can actively use at the exact same time:
Delta Basic (Free) & Delta PRO: You are allowed one (1) active portfolio at a time.
Delta PRO+: Premium subscribers unlock the ability to track, manage, and view an unlimited number of active portfolios.
What happens if I have more portfolios than my plan allows? If you create more portfolios than your current tier supports, your extra portfolios will simply appear as "disabled" or locked in your list. Please do not worry—your data is completely safe and nothing is ever deleted. It simply means you cannot open or edit those disabled portfolios.
If you are on the Basic or PRO tier and want to focus on a different portfolio without upgrading, you are allowed to switch which of your portfolios is your active one once every 30 days.
Managing, Renaming, or Deleting Portfolios
You can easily manage all of your portfolios from that same portfolio selector menu at the top of your screen.
To switch portfolios: Simply open the menu, scroll through the list, and tap the portfolio you want to view.
To rename a portfolio: Tap the 'Edit' icon, then tap the pencil icon next to the portfolio to type in a new name. (Note: Portfolio names cannot be longer than 50 characters).
To delete a portfolio: Tap the 'Edit' icon, then tap the red trashcan to completely remove it.
⚠️ A quick warning on deletion: Please be absolutely sure before deleting a portfolio! Deleting a portfolio permanently wipes its data from our servers. This action is entirely irreversible and cannot be recovered, even if you have a backup QR code.
