This issue occurs when your eToro account is connected to the same Delta portfolio twice. When this happens, Delta imports the same holdings and transactions from both connections, resulting in duplicate entries. Some positions appear roughly double their actual size and your overall portfolio value is inflated.
How to fix it
Go to your Connections: Open the sidebar in the Delta app, tap Settings (the gear icon), and select "Connections."
Find the duplicate connection: Under your eToro connections, check if you have more than one active link importing to the same portfolio.
Delete the extra link: Tap on the duplicate eToro connection, tap the three-dot menu in the top left, and select "Delete connection."
Choose REMOVE: When prompted, select "REMOVE" to completely wipe all the duplicate transactions imported by that link. If you choose "Keep," the duplicate trades will remain in your history and continue to double your holdings.
Sync the remaining connection: Tap the circular sync arrows next to your remaining active eToro connection to trigger a fresh update and verify everything matches up.
Once the duplicate connection is removed, your portfolio will recalculate and display the correct balances.
