A short guide explaining how you can connect Delta to HitBTC to start pulling your historical transactions and holdings. This will keep Delta Investment Tracker updated and it will give you accurate profit/loss as you continue trading.

  1. Visit hitbtc.com & click on the settings icon on the top navigation.

  2. Then click on ‘API keys’.

  3. Click ‘New API key’.

  4. Copy over the ‘API Key’ and the ‘Secret’ into Delta but do not press ‘Next’ in Delta yet.

  5. Go back to HitBTC and give the connection a name so you know in the future the use of the API. For example, you can name it ‘Delta’. Then under Access Rights, check 'Order book, History, Trading Balance' and 'Payment Information', and all other options should be unchecked. Make sure to leave IP Whitelist disabled and click ‘Save’.

  6. Enter your 2FA code to confirm the settings for the API.

  7. Now go back into Delta and enter your options for the API connection, and then Add Connection.

PRO TIP: You must have an Authenticator (TOTP) set up on your HitBTC account to create API keys.

PRO TIP 2: Are certain transactions not importing into Delta? Reading this guide might help you understand why it is not importing and how to fix it.
