A short guide explaining how you can connect Delta to Bitvavo to start pulling your historical transactions and holdings. This will keep Delta Investment Tracker updated and it will give you accurate profit/loss as you continue trading.

  1. Visit bitvavo.com, log in to your Bitvavo account, and click on your name in the top right.

  2. Click on 'API'.

  3. Select 'Request new API Key'.

  4. Give the connection a name so you know in the future the use of the API. For example, you can name it ‘Delta’. Then leave the IP Whitelist blank and enable ‘View Information’. Leave the other permission settings disabled.

  5. Enter the 2FA key and then press 'Confirm'.

  6. You will receive an email from Bitvavo where you need to Confirm your API key creation. Make sure you confirm the API key by clicking the button in the email.

  7. Copy over the ‘API Key’ and the ‘Secret’ into Delta, enter your settings, click Next, select your preferences and then finally click Add Connection.

PRO TIP: You must have an 2fa / Authenticator (TOTP) set up on your Bitvavo account to create API keys.

PRO TIP 2: Are certain transactions not importing into Delta? Reading this guide might help you understand why it is not importing and how to fix it.
